Area dairy parlor tour set for March 9

Iowa State University Extension is joining with area dairy producers to showcase low-cost parlors built in the last several years in northeast Iowa.
Randy Buddenburg and family will be hosting part of the tour March 9 at their farm at 10:30 a.m. The Buddenburgs have a three-year old double-9 parallel parlor. The farm is located on Hwy 9 between Waukon and Decorah at 1340 State Highway 9.
At 1 p.m. March 9, there will be a tour of the swing-10 parabone parlor that is being constructed at the Northeast Iowa Dairy Foundation Grazing Center on the Calmar campus of Northeast Iowa Community College.
