AREA ROADS TO UNDERGO REPAIR

Repairs are scheduled to begin July 24 on the Rossville Road, specifically on nine miles running from the Clayton County line north into Rossville.
The labor is to include asphalt placement of a one inch bond breaker, intended to smooth rough spots for future concrete work. The concrete portion of the project is scheduled to commence mid-August.
In addition, two area side roads are to be repaired. East and west portions of Old Rossville Drive, as well as Volney's Big Foot Road, will undergo roadwork.
No detours are currently planned; any necessary re-routing will not take place until August. Presently, motorists will be made aware of the usual traffic flow observations.
Pavement work on two other roads, Mt. Olivet and Green Valley, is scheduled to begin in September.
