AWARDS PRESENTED AT ANNUAL DAIRY BANQUET

The Allamakee County Dairy Promotion Board presented 12 major awards at the annual Dairy Banquet June 1 at the Waukon Senior High School gymnasium.
Distributed Awards and their winners included Erin Schulte, Allamakee County Dairy Princess; Rachel Reiser, Allamakee County Dairy Princess alternate; Leo, Cathy, Greg and Jenny Conway of Lansing, Distinguished Dairy Family; Douglas and Peggy McNally of Monona, Outstanding Young Dairy Family; Karlton Eberling of Postville, and Dennis Byrnes of Dorchester, Pioneer Dairymen; Hilmen Christianson of Waukon, Cletus Sommer of Waukon, and Lee Gruenhaupt of Waukon, Distinguished Service to Dairy Industry; Arlyn and Kevin Fossum of Waterville, Mike Ferring of Lansing, and Steve Evanson of Waterville, Production Award Plaques; Paddy McQs, Golden Butter Knife Award; and Megan Wonderlich of Waukon, Scholarship Award.
