BIRTH ANNOUNCEMENTS

Michael Hunter Egan was born June 28 at Veterans Memorial Hospital. At birth, he weighed 6 pounds, 2 1/2 ounces and was 20 inches long. Michael's parents are Mike and Laurie Egan of Monona.
His grandparents are Myrtle Egan of Harpers Ferry and Lucille Smock of Decorah. Great-grandparents are Leo and Emma Tollefson, also of Decorah.
Michael joins two brothers: Christopher, 23, and Tyler, 14, and two sisters: Tiffany, 17, and Taylor, 8.

Juan and Maria Dolores Gonzalez wish to announce the birth of their daughter, Marissa Gonzalez Uribe. She was born July 1 at Veterans Memorial Hospital. She weighed 6 pounds, 14 1/2 ounces at birth.
Marissa joins two siblings, Lorenzo Antonio and Syntia Gonzalez.

Erica Fransen and Kyle Moritz are happy to annunce the birth of their daughter, Lauren Ashley Moritz born on June 26.
Grandparents are Deb and Bruce Hartkemeyer, Scott and Lois Fransen, Terry and Kelly Moritz, all of Cedar Rapids.
Great-grandparents are Wayne and Ronda Thorstenson, Carroll and Jane Fransen of Waukon, and Bobi Hartkemeyer of Cedar Rapids. Bill and Darlene Hartkemeyer of Walker, Dean and Lula Weston of Greeley, Betty Stuefen of Palo, and Jean Moritz of West Union.
Great-great-grandparents are Eilert and Charlotte Thorstenson, Herb and Helen Bruns of Waukon and Kenn Nye of Cedar Rapids.

Patrick and Geralyn Welsh with to announce the birth of their daughter, Nicole Elizabeth. She was born June 10 in Menomonee Falls, WI.
She weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces and joins a sister Paige and a brother Carter.
Tess Pladsen, Daniel and Sarah Welsh, Waukon, are her grandparents. Mary and Joe Gavin, also of Waukon, are great-grandparents.
A family celebration honoring her baptism was held at the Daniel Welsh home. Those attending were her Godparents: Carol Bakkum and Ted Pladsen; her grandparents and great-grandparents, Vicki and Matt Heim, Tierney, Justin and Logan; Beth and Darrol Bahr, Faith and Hannah; Kevin and Teri Welsh, Chelsea, Brennan, Corey and Ciara; Joe and Darcy Welsh, Matt, Leah and Mark; Keith Bakkum, Chad, Jason and Callen; Maria and Jay Mathis, Kara, Katie and Kristin; Tiffany Einck; Kristi Gonsalves and Jeff McCabe.

Haley Michelle Riley was born on June 7 at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids. Her parents are Michael and Holly Riley of Cedar Rapids.
Haley weighed 10 pounds at birth and was 21 1/2 inches in length.
Haley joins a sister, Emily, who is 9 years old.
She is the granddaughter of Stephanie and Orville Thein of Solon and Mary and the late Francis Riley of Waukon.
Haley made her T.V. debut on June 9 when she was featured in a soy infant formula presentation discussion over Channel 9, KCRG.

Jason and Janice Bloxham of Appleton, WI wish to announce the birth of their son, Spencer Allen.
He was born on June 27 weighing in at 5 pounds, 6 ounces and 19 1/2 inches long.
Grandparents are Gary and Ramona Ward and Charles and Maxine Bloxham all of Waukon. Great-grandparents are Leo and Dorothy Klocke, Keith and Ruth Bloxham, Marcella Ward, and Lillian Schwartzhoff all of Waukon.
