Seth Tweedy (Jr.) recorded strong finishes Jan. 28-29 as Iowa fell to Missouri, 213.5-149.5 and Penn State 227-136. Tweedy was on the 2nd place 400 medley relay (3:32.07), took 3rd in the 200 free relay (1:27.52) and 800 free relay (7:11.69), was on the 4th place 400 free relay (3:12.82), and scored an individual 9th place finish in the 100 free in 48.62.
Christa Hammel (Fr., F) scored 4 points, grabbed 3 boards, blocked 3 shots, and had a steal Jan. 25 as Upper Iowa fell at Wayne State, 37-50. The Peacocks suffered a 91-58 loss to Minnesota State-Moorhead Jan. 30. She had 14 points, 7 rebounds, 4 blocks, and 2 assists.
Erica Langland (So., G) grabbed a rebound Jan. 25 as Coe fell to Luther, 69-50. Jan. 29, the Kohawks scored a 56-53 overtime win at Loras. Langland had a rebound and an assist.
Andy Schon (Fr.) was third in the 3000 last weekend at the UNI Invite in 9:08.04.
