Allamakee County Fair Demo Derby
We will again be having a Demo Derby on Saturday, July 22, starting at 7 p.m. There will be a class for full-size cars and there will be a separate class for compact and front wheel drive cars.
Trophies and cash prizes will be awarded to the top two cars in each class.
This is sure to be a night of hard-hitting, fender smashing, edge of the seat entertainment that you have come to expect from the Allamakee County Fair.
Complete rules and entry form for this year's Demo Derby can be obtained from Mark Severson, 535-4828; Dave Mortiz Jr., 535-4266; or Dan Liddiard at Clark Tire Center.

Allamakee County Fair Tough Truck Contest

Back by popular demand, the Tough Truck Contest will again be held Sunday, July 23, at 2 p.m. Last year's contest was one of the best ever. Early interest in this year's event is strong. With Todd Blake, Blake Excavating, again preparing this year's course, it is sure to be every bit as good as last year.
If you think your 4x4 truck, 2-wheel drive truck, van, car, etc. can make it through this course full of mud, bumps, bogs, and jumps, then we want you and your vehicle at this event. No pre-registration is necessary, so bring your vehicle and register at the gate. Please be there at least one hour in advance to help make registration go easier.

Allamakee County Fair Ugliest Truck Contest

New for the 147th Allamakee County Fair is the Ugliest Truck Contest. If you think you have the ugliest truck around Northeast Iowa and it is currently titled and licensed, then bring your farm truck, work truck, or daily-driver truck to the fairgrounds on Sunday, July 23, at 10:00 a.m.
We'll be the judge of how ugly your truck is. For a $5 entry fee, the 1st and 2nd place winners will get a nice trophy to display with their Ugliest Truck and 100% payback of the entry fees. No pre-registration is required. Please have your trucks on the grounds by the track prior to 10 a.m.
They will be displayed during the day so that people enjoying the fair can see the Ugliest Trucks in Northeast Iowa.
