Dan & Jane Sivesind Family is Bernie Heffern Memorial 4-H Family

Dan, Jane, Leeta, Lars, Landon and Leslie Sivesind were awarded the Bernie Heffern Memorial 4-H Family plaque before the 4-H/FFA Livestock Auction July 24 by the Bob and Bernie Heffern family. The award was designed by the Heffern family in memory of Bernie Heffern who believed in the community service spirit of 4-H of helping others. During fair week, the Fair Board observed families and chose the family who emulated the Heffern family’s attitude of going out of their way to help other families, working well with each other and practicing the true spirit of 4-H leadership, citizenship and life skills.
