Deering and Johanningmeier to marry

Ann Johanningmeier of Waukon and Koal Deering of Postville are happy to announce their engagement and upcoming wedding. They plan to exchange vows August 8 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Waukon. A reception and dance will be held following the ceremony at the Waukon Banquet Center.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Steve and Jane Johanningmeier of Monona. She is a 2005 graduate of Waukon Senior High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in Elementary Education. She currently teaches first and second grades for the Postville Community School District.
The groom-elect is the son of Drew and Annette Deering of Postville. He is a 2003 graduate of Postville High School and studied Ag Management at Northeast Iowa Community College. He currently works with Johanningmeier Farms.
