Drug interdiction operation held in Postville last week

On February 16, 2005 the Allamakee County Sheriff's Office assisted by Postville Police, Clayton County Sheriff's Special Operation Team, INS, Iowa Highway Patrol, Iowa DNE and the Iowa National Guard conducted a drug interdiction operation in Postville, IA that resulted in the the arrest of four individuals.
Officers arrested Victor Contraras, age 19, Postville, Iowa on charges of Possession of Cocaine with the intent to deliver a class B Felony and forgery a class D felony. Shergio Ramirez, 33, of Postville was charged with Possession of Cocaine with the intent to deliver a class B Felony. Juan Gonzales, age 34, Postville, was charged with Possession of Cocaine with the intent to deliver, a class B felony. Maria Uribe, age 29, of Postville was charged with forgery a class D felony.
All four were incarcerated in the Allamakee County Jail in Waukon.
