Couple to wed at Zion UCC

Lois and Loren Beneke of Waukon wish to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy, to Adrian Evans, son of Allayne and Lewis Evans of Ottawa, Canada.
Amy is a 1993 graduate of Waukon High School and a 1998 graduate of Iowa State University. She has completed two years teaching kindergarten and first grade in the Van Buren Community Schools, Stockport Center.
Adrian is a 1997 graduate of Carleton University, Ottawa, and received his post graduate certification in education from St. Andrew's College, Glasgow, Scotland. He is currently teaching high school English at Cowes High School in Cowes, England.
An August 12 wedding is planned at Zion United Church of Christ Church in Waukon. A reception and dance will immediately follow the ceremony at the Villager Lodge in Decorah.

Vows to be exchanged at St. Pius

Jennifer Cooly and Todd Osterhaus of Ames wish to announce their July 15 wedding plans. Jennifer is the daughter of Dennis and Jill Cooley of Waterloo. Todd's parents are Dale and Janice Osterhaus, Waterville.
The future bride is a 1994 graduate of Waterloo West High School, Waterloo, and a 1999 graduate of Iowa State University. She is employed by Vector Corp in Huxley. The prospective groom is a 1994 Waukon Senior High School graduate. He finished his degree from Iowa State University this May and is employed at Great Lakes Hybrids.
The couple will exchange vows at St. Pius, Cherry Mound. A reception following the service is to be held at Scenic Ridge View dance barn, Harpers Ferry.

Autumn wedding plans announced

Steve and Becky Welper of Waukon are pleased to announce the forthcoming marriage of their son, Aaron, to Stephanie Freed, the daughter of Terry and Betty Freed, Aspers, PA.
The bride-to-be is a 1997 graduate of Biglerville High School, Biglerville, PA. In 1999, she graduated from the York Technical Institute, York, PA, with an associate of arts degree in accounting. She is currently employed at Shold Construction Services of Ames as an accountant.
The future groom is a 1996 graduate of Waukon Senior High School. He earned an associate of arts degree in network administration from Hamilton Business College in Mason City. He is employed at Pioneer Hi-Bred International as a field support specialist in Johnston. The future bride and groom are both residents of Urbandale.
An October 7 ceremony is scheduled at St. John's Lutheran Church in Waukon.

Summer vows to be exchanged

Laura Diann Dittman and Jeremy Douglas Daniel will be united in marriage July 22 at First United Methodist Church in Iowa Falls. Laura is the daughter of Delbert and Jo Dittman of Waukon. Jeremy's parents are Doug and Patsy Daniel, Iowa Falls.
The bride-to-be is a 1995 graduate of Waukon Senior High School and a 1997 graduate of Ellsworth Community College, Iowa Falls. She is employed as a nanny in Winnetka, northern Chicago area. The future groom is a 1993 graduate of Iowa Falls High School and a 1995 Ellsworth Community College graduate. In 1998, he earned a bachelor of art degree from University of Iowa, Iowa City, in the field of economics. He is a stockbroker for T.D. Waterhouse in Chicago.
After the ceremony, the couple is planning a reception at Highland Country Club in Iowa Falls.
