ERIN DALEY REIGNS AS QUEEN OVER 147TH ANNUAL ALLAMAKEE COUNTY FAIR

Erin Daley was crowned queen of the 147th Allamakee County Fair at a pageant Wednesday, July 19 to kick-off this year's events. The title was passed to Daley by former queen Laura Palmer at the grandstand performance of The Whitesidewalls that evening.
Daley is the daughter of Neal and Nancy Daley of Waukon and will begin her junior year at Waukon Senior High School this fall. She is active in basketball, track and Key Club, and is also an honor roll student.
Those attending the Allamakee County Fair enjoyed near-perfect weather conditions, as cool, dry weather prevailed over the five-day affair.
