Exhibitors wanted for Iowa Artists Art Show

      The Iowa Artists Art Show for Region 3 will be held March 19, 2005, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Centennial Union Gallery of Luther College in Decorah. The eight counties comprising the northeast Iowa region are Allamakee, Chickasaw, Clayton, Fayette, Floyd, Howard, Mitchell, and Winneshiek.
      The art show is open to artists 18 and older. Three works per artist may be entered. Two-dimensional works include paintings, drawing and printmaking with a maximum dimension not to exceed four feet in either direction. Three-dimensional works include ceramics, sculpture, fiber, and textiles. All works must be original stemming from the artist's own experience. Copies, whole or in part, kits, or crafts, will not be acceptable.
      Works will be constructively critiqued by a qualified judge and first, second, third, and honorable mention ribbons will be awarded. First place winners will be eligible to enter their works in a State Iowa Artists Show that will be held April 30 at the Blanden Memorial Museum in Fort Dodge.
