Explore 4-H Night is October 16

To offer expanded opportunities to learn more about 4-H, the Allamakee County Extension Office is hosting Explore 4-H Night Wednesday, October 16 from 3-7 p.m. at the Allamakee County Extension Office located on Allamakee Street in Waukon. This opportunity is offered to all 4-H families and anyone interested in joining 4-H and will involve exploring opportunities to enhance 4-H experiences. Explore 4-H Night includes hands-on activities in all 4-H project areas, such as the 4-H STEM Projects being explored in the above photo by Derrick Wiemerslage, a member of the Bear Creek Kids 4-H Club. Those in attendance will also have the opportunity to share their ideas for 4-H on a new Idea Board to help Allamakee County Youth Co-Coordinators Leah Lechtenberg and Sue Pederson assist 4-H'ers in growing as individuals and making a lasting impact. Both Lechtenberg and Pederson will be present to assist in the exploration of and answer any questions about 4-H. Those attending are encouraged to bring a friend, as Explore 4-H Night is also an opportunity to receive assistance with 4-H enrollment.
