Final Walking School Bus of the season taking place this Friday

The Allamakee Community School District (ACSD) Walking School Bus invites area school families to join its growing participation for one more walk this fall scheduled for this Friday, November 15. Interested families and volunteers should meet at 7:45 a.m. at the playing field one block north of East Elementary School near the ACSD bus barn along Fifth Street NW in Waukon. Routes lead to East Elementary, West Elementary and St. Patrick School. The Walking School Bus provides a safe and fun way for students to get to school. Walking School Buses also get students active, which is essential for healthy growth and development.
