FIRST DEGREE MURDER CASE RESCHEDULED

The jury trial of Gerardo Gonzalez, 23, of Postville, scheduled for Wednesday, May 3, has been postponed until Tuesday, July 11, to allow time for additional investigation.
Gonazalez is charged with the first degree murder of Francisco Costilla Castaniera, 23, also of Postville, Jan. 15 of this year.
A request filed by defense attorneys asking that the court case be tried in another county has been denied.
