Freshman boys beat North Fayette, New Hampton, fall to Crestwood, Oelwein on the hardcourt

Four points were all that separated the Tribe from victory Jan. 13. Crestwood posted a 57-53 win over the Indians.
Nick Kruger scored a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds.
Colin Egan ended with 12 points and four steals.
Marcus Tweedy reeled in nine rebounds while Ryan Anderson grabbed six.

Kruger paced Waukon with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Ryan Anderson added 11 points, five rebounds, and four steals.
Tweedy ended the night with nine points and five boards.

The Indians rebounded from the loss to Crestwood to trounce New Hampton Jan. 28. Waukon walked away from the Chickasaws in a 76-51 victory.
Four Indians finished in double figures. Egan led the way with 16 points while Logan Anderson added 13. Kruger registered 12 points and Taylor Wood ended the contest with ten.
On the glass, Egan grabbed six rebounds and Tyler Hanson and Tweedy snagged five each.
Ryan Anderson and Egan each had five steals.
