Girls State Basketball t-shirts, tickets available Tuesday

Tuesday, March 1, t-shirts and tickets to the 2005 girls basketball state tournament will be on sale at the Waukon Senior High cafeteria from 4 to 7 p.m. Also, old jerseys will be available for resale.

The Booster Club will offer charter buses for all games and fans can sign-up to ride Tuesday, March 1. Cost to ride is $35, which also covers the cost of a game ticket. Charter buses will load at 1 p.m. next Tuesday.

Student pep buses will also make the trip to the tournament and are available at a first come, first serve basis. Cost is $15 (including ticket). Student buses will load at 1:30 p.m. March 8 and leave the parking lot at 1:45.

Waukon plays Tuesday, March 8 at 6:30 p.m. against MOC-Floyd Valley. Should the Indians win, they will play Thursday, March 10 at 8 p.m. Another victory would move the Tribe into the 6 p.m. championship game Saturday, March 12.

Should the Indians continue to advance, tickets for semifinal and championship action will be sold by the high school office beginning at 8 a.m. Wednesday, March 9 and Friday, March 11. Student and charter pep buses will also travel to each state game Waukon competes in.
