At the helm at St. Paul
Pastor Allen Hermeier, right, has accepted the position as interim pastor at St. Paul Lutheran Church here until a permanent pastor can be found. Hermeier, who has roots in northeast Iowa, currently resides in Decorah with his wife. The Hermeiers moved to Decorah after having served the last 16 years of his career in Fort Dodge. A Waukon native, Pastor Hermeier said he loves the area and enjoys doing interim ministry. Pictured on the left is lay minister Greg Hamm who has worked at St. Paul for 2 1/2 years. Hamm, who resides in rural Waterville with his wife Becky, feels blessed to be working with Hermeier and the St. Paul family.
