Kee High School to host Cultural Fair March 17

Walk through a cave of art from ancient times. Listen to the band and choir perform music from Ireland and Spain. Be surrounded by Hispanic cultures and special celebrations created by students. All of this and more can be done Monday, March 17 at Kee High School in Lansing.
The Art, Music and Spanish Departments at Kee High School in Lansing will be hosting a Cultural Fair at the high school from 5:30-6:45 p.m. that Monday. The event is an exhibition of student research and projects about other cultures around the world. The students are putting into practice the Iowa CORE: 21st Century Employability Skills they learn at Kee High School by demonstrating various communication styles to the public.
The event is open to everyone. The general public is invited to come and support the students as they present themselves to potential future employers in today's global world. More specific information about the event's activities will be published in next week's edition of The Standard.
