Nicole Oden receives RN certification

Nicole M. Oden of Waukon has received notice that she has successfully completed all the requirements and Board exams, and has achieved the right to practice as a Registered Nurse.
Oden attended Northeast Iowa Community College (NICC) in Calmar and received her Associate Degree in Nursing in December of 2004. She plans to continue her education at NICC and earn her Bachelor's Degree within the next two years.
While attending the Calmar facility, she has worked as a CNA at the Good Samaritan Center in Waukon for three and one-half years, as well as private home care under contract with Ultimate Nursing Services of Iowa, Inc.
Upon graduation, Oden was admitted to membership in the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society for academic achievement. She hopes to be able to work in the field of Obstetrics in Iowa or Wisconsin.
Oden is the daughter of Steve and Robin Oden of Waukon.
