Northeast Iowa Regional Job Fair set for March 17

Thursday, March 17, a job fair will be held at the Northeast Iowa Community-Based Dairy Center, from 1 to 4 p.m. The Dairy Center is located south of Calmar on highway 150 just south of the NICC Campus. The theme of the job fair is “Putting the Pieces Together”.

“This is the first year for such a job fair in this region of Northeast Iowa,” said Wendy Mihm-Herold, Region 1 Manager for Iowa Workforce Development. The job fair will provide businesses the opportunity to showcase their businesses, take applications, and talk with prospective employees about employment and potential internships. Several hundred job seekers are expected to attend the fair.
