Schave girls tea held in Dubuqe

A Schave Girls Tea (some of us drank coffee) was held in the Riverfront Cafe in the Grand Harbor Hotel in Dubuque, Iowa on October 14, 2008. Those in attendance were Carol Wettleson of Postville, Kathy Voelzke of Monona, Linda Davis of Luana, Judy Ball of Harlan, Iowa, Arlene LeMense of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Sandra Wander and Mary Ellen Durr, both of Dubuque.
After a delightful lunch, five hours were spent going down memory lane and updatings on each others families. A little time was spent gazing out the large windows at the barges going on the river and the beautiful autumn colored leaves on the Illinois shore.
Plans were tossed around for the spring Schave Reunion but nothing was set in stone for a date so keep in touch with a Schave relative for further information. See ya all next year, or sooner!!, for a chatting good time.
