Sen. Zieman meets with students from NICC

DES MOINES -- State Sen. Mark Zieman (R-Postville) met this week with students from Northeast Iowa Community College. The students were at the Capitol with other students from Iowa's community college system to discuss various funding and policy issues that impact community colleges in Iowa.
"Students at Iowa's community colleges benefit from an affordable, quality education that equips them with the skills they need to better compete in today's job market," said Zieman. "The quality instruction and high-tech training community colleges offer, improves Iowa's education system and builds a more highly-skilled workforce."
