A sweet deal
Pictured above are the winners in this year's Valentine's Day Giveaway sponsored by the Herald-Leader and several local merchants. The grand prize went to Maxine Suddendorf (center) who took home flowers, a cookie bouquet, chocolate hearts, a jewelry box just to name a few of the many goodies provided by local merchants. Dorothy Suckow (left) won second prize and Darcy Radloff (right) won third prize, both ladies taking home a box of candy and Postville Bucks. Maxine registered just once, at the Brick Oven Pizza and Eatery, and her name was chosen from over 1,000 people who entered this year's Valentine's Day Giveaway.
