Tom Baxter appointed to ACSD Board of Directors

The Allamakee Community School Distirct (ACSD) Board of Directors met Wednesday morning, September 4 for a very brief special meeting. Tom Baxter was appointed and sworn in to fill the vacancy in the Director District #2 seat on the Board, which was recently vacated by the resignation of Greg Byrnes. Baxter will fill out the remaining two years of that term.
The Board also approved staff for the 21st Century after school program and the Comprehensive Plan, Annual Progress Report, Iowa Core Report and Special Education Delivery Plan. A request for open enrollment was denied.
