Walking School Bus begins in Waterville next Thursday, will return to Waukon later this spring

The Walking School Bus provides a safe, fun and active way for students to get to school. Both in-town and out-of-town students are encouraged to participate in the Walking School Buses, which will make a return appearance in Waukon this spring and will also be starting in Waterville later this month.
The Waterville Walking School Bus will walk to school three Thursday mornings this spring: March 27, April 24 and May 15. Interested families and volunteers should meet at 7:45 a.m. at the corner of East Main Street and East First Street on the southeast side of Waterville. The Waukon Walking School Bus will walk to school for four consecutive Friday morning beginning after Easter: April 25, May 2, May 9 and May 16. Interested families and volunteers should meet at 7:45 a.m. at the playing field one block north of East Elementary near the Allamakee Community School District bus barn along Fifth Street NW.
