Waukon Chamber of Commerce annual banquet scheduled for April 9

The Waukon Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its annual banquet Saturday, April 9 at the Waukon Reception and Banquet Center. Social hour will begin at 6 p.m., with dinner being served at 7 p.m. and the evening’s program set to begin at 8 p.m. One of the highlights of the evening will be the announcement of Waukon’s “Person of the Year”.

Allamakee Community School District Superintendent John Speer will be the featured speaker for the event, and KNEI Radio’s Chuck Allen will serve as Master of Ceremonies. In addition to the above-mentioned events, there will also be an auction of donated items and door prizes given away throughout the night. Stan Ewing will serve as the auctioneer for the event.

Tickets for the event can also be purchased at the Waukon Chamber of Commerce office at 101 West Main Street, Citizens State Bank in Waukon, Farmers & Merchants Savings Bank, Waukon State Bank, or from any member of the Waukon Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
