Waukon Park & Rec may offer soccer this spring if enough interest is shown

The Waukon Park & Rec Department is interested in offering a spring youth soccer league for boys and girls in grades one through six. This league would run in the spring for approximately six weeks. Soccer practices will be held on weekdays with games played on Saturday.
The ability to begin a soccer program through the Waukon Park & Rec Department will be dependent upon the number of youth interested in playing soccer. Numerous communities and schools in Iowa are currently offering soccer programs. This program will allow soccer to be introduced to the Waukon area.
To assist in determining a need for a soccer program, parents are encourage to complete the accompanying form and return it to their child's school or the Waukon Park & Rec office by Feb. 25.
