Waukon team wins sportsmanship trophy...

A team of Waukon girls earned the fifth and sixth grade sportsmanship trophy at the Jan. 22-23 Prairie Catholic Schools basketball tournament. Members of the squad are (front, left to right): Katie Riese, Sadie Bucheit, Brooke Benjegerdes, Breanna Bublitz, Taylor Knudtson, and Mikayla Holly. Back: Alissa Smith, East Elementary Principal Ann Hart, Andrea Hawkins, Amber Mitchell, Kayla Burroughs, Nicole Colsch, Kimberly Promnitz, Karina Day, Nichole Lyons, Brianna Carlus, Abbey Clauson, and Whitney Jones. Not pictured are Nicole Collins, Desiree Kregel, and coaches Jane Collins and Dennis Lyons.
