West Post Project Club

West Post Project Club met July 15, 2009 at the home of Ellen Wahls. The meeting was opened by seven answering roll call, telling how they celebrated the Fourth of July. Darlene Lange gave thoughts for the day. "May you life be like arithmetic- Friends added, enemies subtracted, joys multiplied and errors divided." She also noted you are an old timer if you remember when a women went on her second honeymoon, it was with her first husband. Our hostess, Ellen also shared a thought for the day, "Even much worse than a storm or a riot, is a bunch of kids who are suddenly quiet. Mary Althouse read a thank you from the club. Business matters discussed were ideas for the club trip and plans to aid the committee in charge of the Christmas Walk.

The Sunshine Box collection was taken. Marge Lange gave tips for uses of petroleum jelly.

Ellen Wahls presented a very interesting display and information about her trip to Africa. She visited her daughter and her family in Africa. Live is very interesting for her family in this far away country. Ellen treated us to a lunch that would have been served in Africa.

The next meeting will be held on August 19th at the home of Myrna Jones
