YMCA to hold annual meeting
The Northeast Iowa YMCA annual business meeting will be held Thursday, Feb. 3 at 7 p.m. at the YMCA. Anyone planning to attend should RSVP to 563-864-9622.

Benefit to be held for Taylor baby
A benefit will be held for Brook Taylor, infant son of Brian and Brenda Taylor, Friday, Feb. 18 at The Oaks in Decorah (formerly the Cliff House). An auction will begin at 6 p.m. with a dance following from 8 to midnight. Anyone wishing to donate items for the auction should bring them to Community Presbyterian Church in Postville or the Postville Visitor Center by Wednesday, Feb. 16. Brook , not yet three months old, has already undergone three surgeries for complications with his espophagus. Local grandparents are Ron and Nina Taylor.

PEO Chapter FT to meet here
PEO Chapter FT will meet Tuesday, February 8 at East Park Terrace. Connie Herbon will be the hostess and Cindy Converse is in charge of the program.

Zieman, Gipp to host meeting
(DES MOINES) - Sen. Mark Zieman, R-Postville, and Rep. Chuck Gipp, R-Decorah, will host a legislative forum in Postville on Saturday, Feb. 5, 2005. Information is as follows: The meeting will be held at Upper Explorerland Planning Commission, 134 W. Greene at 9:30 a.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Super Bowl Subs at Presbyterian Church
The Youth at Community Presbyterian Church are selling sub sandwiches to raise funds for youth activities in conjunction with the Super Bowl. To order a sub call and leave a message at 864-3736. Pick up sandwiches at Community Presbyterian Church Sunday, Feb. 6 at 11:30 or they can also be delivered. Call and check out the special price deals, too!
