Public urged to attend, provide input at C2C meeting November 13

Members of the general public are strongly encouraged to provide their input at the public meeting being hosted Wednesday, November 13 by the Waukon Works Committee for the next phase of the Iowa State University Communities to Community (C2C) project. Results of the recent community survey will be shared, and further public input will be needed. All interested community members are encouraged to attend, and they are welcome to come and go as they please during the meeting timeframe, which will be from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Waukon NICC Center Wednesday, November 13.
The four-hour meeting time has been scheduled to accommodate a variety of schedules in an effort to get as much public input as possible. It is not intended that attendees stay for the entire four-hour timeframe. The project's success depends upon input from community members, as Iowa State University staff members will be making note of all input provided in order to guide the next phase of the project.
Simultaneous break-out sessions will include results of the recent survey, results of the economic study, focus groups to get further community feedback on the survey, and an interactive Community Design Lab session to focus on an overall vision. Leadership training will begin with the logistics of planning future meetings, including recruitment and topics for future training sessions. Community members are asked to attend the meeting to help with a cohesive vision for Waukon.
