Senator Grassley to hold town meeting in Waukon April 10

Senator Charles Grassley will be in Waukon and Guttenberg Tuesday, April 10 for town meetings with local residents. Grassley has held at least one meeting with Iowans in every one of the state’s 99 counties since 1980, when he was first elected to serve in the U.S. Senate.
“I look forward to these meetings to hear directly from Iowans and to have the dialogue that’s so important to the process of representative government. This process is a two-way street. I go to every county every year to listen to comments and respond to questions, and Iowans come out and participate in the discussion,” Grassley said. “The meetings are open to the public. I encourage everyone to come.”
Senator Grassley will be at the Allamakee County Farm Bureau building, located at 14 First Avenue NE in Waukon, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 10. He will then be at the Guttenberg Public Library from 12-1 p.m. that day.
