Rep. Bob Hager hosts town hall meeting

Representative Bob Hager of Dorchester met with area residents Saturday morning, February 11 at a town hall meeting at the Waukon Wellness Center, where he gave a brief summary on issues he has been working on in Des Moines, such as modifications to the Forest Reserve program, child labor on farms and a bill he introduced to impose congressional term limits. After introducing Mike Breitbach, Republican candidate for Iowa Senate District 28, Hager fielded questions from those in attendance on educational programs and funding for education, same-sex marriage, funding for the Department of Natural Resources and health insurance for state employees.
