BIRTH ANNOUNCEMENTS

Nicholas Edward Airy was born on May 16 at Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids. He weighed in at 7 pounds, 11 ounces and was 21 inches long. He is the first-born of Bryce and Heather Airy of Alburnett. Nicholas' grandparents are George and Patty Anderson and John and Jan Airy, all of Alburnett. Great-grandmothers are Joan Feller and Betty Anderson of Waukon and Verna Airy of Marion.

Ronald and Angela Cooper of Lansing wish to announce the birth of their daughter, Kendra Marie Cooper. Kendra was born at Veterans Memorial Hospital on May 30. She weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces and was 21-1/2 inches long.
She has three siblings, Jordan, Danen and Courtney. Her grandparents are Wayne and Jan Howe of Waukon and Vernon and Eilene Cooper of Lansing. Great-grandparents are Arlene Beisker, Charles and Lorraine Howe and Marion Cooper, all of Waukon.

A son was born to George and Jamie Bieber of Waukon. Brandon Luke was born June 1 at Veterans Memorial Hospital, weighing in at 7 pounds, 14-1/2 ounces.
Brandon has a three-year old brother, Nicholas. His grandparents are Joan Bieber of Waukon and Elsie Teff of Lansing.

Matt and Vickie Pladsen of Waterville wish to announce the birth of their daughter, Mattison Victoria Pladsen.
She was born June 5, at Veterans Memorial Hospital. She weighed 7 pounds, 1 1/2 ounces.
Mattison has three siblings: Lacey who is 16, Brice who is 12, and Landon who is 11. Grandparents are Roger and Sandy Pladsen, Bernard and Jean Snitker all of Waukon. Great-grandmother is Lillian Gray of Waukon.

A new addition to the Elisha and Richard Marti family is a beautiful new daughter, Gabrielle Marie. She weighed 9 pounds, 2 ounces and was 21 inches long. Gabrielle was born on June 4 at 4:10 a.m.
She is welcomed at home by her big sister, Alex, who is 2 1/2 years old.
Gabrielle’s grandparents are Richard and Annabelle Marti, Steven and Geraldine Wurtzel all of Waukon, and Lynette Corkery of Fayette. Great-grandparents are Bob and Shirley Heimer and Donna and Truman Wurtzel.
