Kee girls basketball team plays to 15-8 season record in return of Coach Ben Wagner

The Kee girls basketball team played its 2019-2020 campaign to a 15-8 season record, but this season won’t likely be remembered so much for that season record as it will be for all the other records set by this winter’s Kee bucket brigade. In addition to that overall record that included a 10-6 mark that placed the Lady Hawks fourth in the final Upper Iowa Conference standings, there were also a great number of individual records set by several of this year’s players that will likely make this season one to remember for a long while.

This season’s record-setting performances were headlined by sophomore guard Reagan Mudderman, who etched her name among the Kee girls basketball elite this season with a number of season and single-game records in several statistical categories. Mudderman first rewrote the Kee five-player girls single-game scoring record with 34 points in a January 31 Hawk win, 62-43, over North Fayette Valley, bettering the previous mark of 33 points scored by 2007 Kee graduate Chandran Duffy during her sophomore season back in 2005.
