The Waukon boys basketball team played a busy slate of three Northeast Iowa Conference (NEIC) games this past week, winning two of those three contests to even up both their NEIC mark (2-2) and overall record (3-3) so far this season. The week started off with the bucket Tribe suffering its second consecutive NEIC loss, 57-53 at Crestwood Monday, December 14 in a game rescheduled from December 8, but the Indians bounced back the very next night with a 78-65 triumph at home over Decorah Tuesday, December 15 before finishing the week pulling out a 66-62 win at Charles City Friday, December 18.
The Indians will now enter their holiday break from school. They will return to the basketball court with a Saturday, January 2 non-conference game at Kee before hosting New Hampton Friday, January 8.
