Midwest Veterans of America to honor area Veterans at event this Saturday celebrating the observance of Veterans Day
Midwest Veterans of America will be honoring area Veterans at an event this Saturday, November 8 at the new Fiesta Vallarta location (formerly AJ Bar & Grill) on Main Street in Waukon in celebration of Veterans Day, which is observed November 11 of each year. The free event will include an awards presentation that will begin at 1 p.m. honoring approximately 40 area Veterans.
The general public is invited to attend the event and may order from the full Fiesta Vallarta menu. Veterans who were nominated by local residents for honoring at this Saturday’s event include the following (as reported by Midwest Veterans of America):
