Len and Wanda Waters of Newton, parents of the bride-to-be, and Ralph and Dawn Norris of Marshall, IL, parents of the groom-to-be, announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their children, Amanda Waters of Waukon and Owen Norris of Marshall, IL.

The wedding is scheduled for April 21, 2018 and will take place in Waukon. A dance will follow from 6:30 p.m. to 12 a.m. at the Allamakee County Fairgrounds Pavilion in Waukon. The couple will reside in Newton.
 

Jacob and Katie Vorwald of Monona announce the birth of their daughter, Weslyn Marie Vorwald, born March 29, 2018 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 7 lbs. 12 ozs. and measured 20 inches in length at the time of her birth. She joins one sibling, Karrigan (3).

Grandparents are Dan and Kay Vorwald and Dody Huinker, all of Monona. Great-grandparents are Mary Pedretti of Elkader, Marilyn Nielsen of Elkader, Belva Gramlich of Monona and Joanne Vorwald of Monona.
 

Matt and Samantha Schutte of Spillville announce the birth of their daughter, Riley Mae Schutte, born March 30, 2018 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 9 lbs. and measured 20-1/2 inches in length at the time of her birth. She joins a sister, Remington (2).

Grandparents are Dale and Julie Schildmeyer of Ossian and the late Paul Schutte of Fort Atkinson. Great-grandparents are Caroline Schildmeyer of Ossian and Bill and Jane Lugar of Mason City.
 

Wayne and Nona Sawyer of Waukon will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary April 6. They were married at Marion Lutheran Church in Gunder. They will be celebrating with a family trip to Big Cedar Lodge in Missouri.

Their children are Robin (Lani Nobles) of Englewood, CO, Scott (Chris Boston) of Hillsboro, IL and Mike (Shari) of Waterloo. Their grandchildren are Haley, Hannah, Megan and Owen.

Laura and Jason Timler of Waterloo announce the birth of their daughter, Amelia Ann Timler, born February 23, 2018 in Iowa City. She weighed 6 lbs. 11 ozs. and measured 19-1/2 inches in length at the time of her birth.

Grandparents are Kevin and Judy Selberg of Waukon, Christopher Timler of Marquette and Scott and Pamela Clickner of McGregor. Great-grandparents are Marcella Selberg of Waukon, Dolores Walleser of Lansing, Nancy Sorensen of Racine, WI and Sandra Timler of Georgia.
 

Mickayla Close and Brandon Kountkofsky of Waukon announce the birth of their son, Cybastian Kountkofsky, born March 27, 2018 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 7 lbs. 1 oz. and measured 21 inches in length at the time of his birth.

Grandparents are Ray Close of McGregor, Cindy and Mike Fritz of Clermont, FL, Mike Blake of Dorchester and Mary Kountkofsky. Great-grandparents are Debbie Eilers-Lange, Sandy Genthe, and Mike and Darla Eilers, all of McGregor.
 

Spencer Adam and Ashlee Scherf of Waukon announce the birth of their daughter, Avery JoAnn Adam, born March 16, 2018 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 6 lbs. 12 ozs. and measured 19-1/4 inches in length at the time of her birth.

Grandparents are Reggie and Robin Adam of Monona, Dave Christianson and Shelly Scherf of Waterville and Joel and Kelsey Scherf of Backus, MN.
 

Zach and Tabitha Chase of Farmersburg announce the birth of their son, Jameson Scott Chase, born March 16, 2018 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 7 lbs. 1 oz. and measured 19-1/2 inches in length at the time of his birth. He joins siblings, Jadelynn (10), Jensen (9), Jaxon (8) and Emma (3).

Grandparents are Junell and Scott Chase of Farmersburg and Joe and Debbie Pozanc of Volney. Great-grandparents are Jim and Karon Hendrickson of McGregor, Bernell and June Larson of McGregor and Carol Chase of Monona.
