Daniel Peter Bieber was born October 20, 1956 in Waukon to Peter William and Lillian Eileen (Kvamme) Bieber. March 18, 1978, Dan married Sheryl Sue Bloxham at the Little Brown Church in Nashua.
Dan was a farmer his entire life, starting with doing chores as a boy, to working the feeder pig sales at the IPLA Sales Barn when he was just out of high school, and continuing as he joined the family on the Bieber Century farm. Dan was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Waukon, where he taught Sunday School and he and Sheryl served as youth advisors. He was currently a Makee Township Trustee and formerly on the board of the Waukon Athletic Booster Club. He enjoyed being outdoors, especially four-wheeling, wood cutting, picking up walnuts and mowing the yard. He also loved taking his restored Farmall tractors to parades and on tractor rides. Playing euchre, following the Hawkeyes, Packers, and Cubs, and spending time with his grandchildren were some of his favorite pastimes.
