David Schroeder, age 53, of Big Lake, MN, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family December 6, 2013 at Our Lady of Peace Hospice in St. Paul, MN. A Memorial service will be held at Saron Lutheran Church, 311 Lake St. S., Big Lake, MN January 11 at 1 p.m. Lunch will follow. Private interment. Funeral arrangements are with the Peterson-Grimsmo Chapel of Monticello, MN.
David was born December 10, 1959 to Norma and Erich Schroeder. He was preceded in death by his father, Erich Schroeder, and brother-in-law, Tony Holcombe. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Deanna (Johnson) Schroeder; mother Norma Schroeder; children Emily, Amy and Tyler Schroeder; granddaughter Sophia Scott; five siblings, George (Betty) Schroeder, Richard Schroeder, Robert (Sandy) Schroeder, Connie Holcombe, and Ann (Bob) Mears; along with many nieces, nephews and in-laws.
