Jeff Teslow

Jeffery Lane Teslow, 47, of Ossian, formerly of Decorah,  died Sunday, December 29, 2013 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, MN. Jeff was born November 25, 1966 in Decorah to Nathan and Ruby (Hesse) Teslow. He graduated from Decorah High School with the class of 1986.
Jeff was united in marriage to Brenda Lansing April 28, 2001 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Ossian. Jeff worked as a custodian at Decorah Middle School and at Glenwood Lutheran Church in Decorah for many years. He enjoyed tinkering with things, gardening, working on his computer and landscaping with his wife. He will be greatly missed by the many people who knew him.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Teslow of Ossian; his mother, Ruby Teslow of Decorah; one brother, Bernard (Janet) Teslow of Decorah; one sister, Sherri Teslow of Decorah; his father-in-law, Richard Lansing of Ossian; his in-laws, Joyce (Philip) Waters of Hudson, Sandra (Alan) Lamborn of Nashua, Glen (Angie) Lansing of Postville; several nieces and nephews; a host of many other family and friends and his dog, Casey.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Nathan Teslow, in 1993 and his mother-in-law, Madelyn Lansing in 2013.
Funeral Services were held  Friday, January 3 at  Glenwood Lutheran Church in Decorah with Rev. Stacey Nalean-Carlson as the Officiant.
Inurnment will be held at a later date.
Schmitz-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Ossian is helping the family with the arrangements.
