Marian Frick

Marian L. Frick, 91, died  Saturday, December 26, 2009 at Cedar Health in Charles City.
Marian Lucille Frick was born June 27, 1918 in Dixon,  the daughter of Vivian and Hulda (Pahl) Vilmont.
She graduated from Muscatine High School and Brown’s Business College in Davenport. Marian was a bookkeeper at Bradford Clothing Company in Davenport until her marriage.
February 26, 1938, she married Edwin H. Frick in Davenport. They farmed in the Durant and Bennett area. He died July 23, 1986. Marian moved to Nashua in 1994.
Survivors include her son, Roger (Sue) Frick of Waukon; daughters, Marilyn (Richard) Jordan of Nashua and Barbara VanDen Berghe of DeWitt; nine grandchildren, 22 great- grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Corrine Frick (May 2, 1997); her sister, Fern Duffe; and an infant sister.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 30 at Schultz Funeral Home in DeWitt. Rev. Chuck Kelsey will officiate. Visitation will be from 9 until 10:45 a.m. at Schultz Funeral Home in DeWitt. Lunch will be held at the DeWitt United Methodist Church following the funeral service.
Burial will follow at Inland Cemetery, Bennett, Iowa. Pallbearers will be Jerry Jordan, Ed Frick, Chris Frick, Frank Schneider, Bill Wuestenberg and Shane Toerber.
