Robert Williams

Robert L. Williams, 79, of Little Rock, AR passed away Saturday, April 5, 2014. Graveside services were held Wednesday, April 9 at Hockenberry Cemetery in Tichnor, AR.
Robert was born in Waukon May 14, 1934 to John and Alice (McCabe) Williams. He was a retired Economist with the Bureau of Labor Statistics in Washington, D.C. He served in the United States Army from 1957-1959, where he was an Interpreter in France. Robert was a graduate of Loras College in Dubuque and attended Law School at Loyola College in Chicago, IL.
He is survived by his sister, Mary (Fred) Palumbo of Huntley, IL; his aunt, Mabel Batteen of Minneapolis, MN; his brothers-in-law, Reggie (Mary) Corbitt of Little Rock, AR and Jeff (Renee) Corbitt of Cabot, AR; his sisters-in-law, Velma Brown of Hot Springs, AR, Jeanette Joseph of Bosier City, LA, and Barbara Corbitt and Jean Corbitt, both of Redfield, AR; as well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Laverne Corbitt Williams; his brothers-in-law, Roger and Orville Corbitt; and his sisters-in-law, Ina Hampton and Mildred Corbitt.
