Aaron Gonzales and Alexyess Rosendahl of Waverly announce the birth of their daughter, Raya-Lynne Marie Gonzales, born August 4, 2022 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 6 lbs. 9 ozs. and measured 19-1/2 inches in length at the time of her birth.

Mollie Ward and Parker Vine of Waukon announce the birth of their daughter, Hadley JoAnn Vine, born August 5, 2022 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 7 lbs. 2 ozs. and measured 19-1/2 inches in length at the time of her birth.

Grandparents are Shelly and Randy Vine of Waukon and Sherri and Bob Ward of Luana.

Marcus and Alyssa Bell of Waukon announce the birth of their daughter, Scarlett Rosa Bell, born August 10, 2022 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 7 lbs. 15 ozs. and measured 20 inches in length at the time of her birth. She joins siblings, Samara (7) and Sebastian (4).

Grandparents are David and Julie Bell of Waukon, Olivia Bell of Waukon, and Juan and Rebecca Rosas of Lansing. Arden Sprain of La Crosse, WI is a great-grandparent.

Jared and Brianna Melcher of Lancaster, WI announce the birth of their son, Braxton James Melcher, born July 20, 2022 at Crossing Rivers Health in Prairie du Chien, WI. He weighed 7 lbs. 12 ozs. and measured 20-1/2 inches in length at his birth.

Grandparents are Jeff and Sara Melcher of Waukon, Brian and Chris Koth of Elkport, and Brian and Lori Gardner of Lancaster, WI. Great-grandparents are Roger and Karen Melcher of Harpers Ferry, Ralph and Diane Mohn of Harpers Ferry, Wayne and Arlene Junk of Cassville, WI, and the late Monroe and the late Wilma Gardner of Glen Haven, WI.

Paul and Maxine Horsfall of Lansing are celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary. The couple married at the Lutheran Church in Prairie du Chien, WI August 14, 1952. They were blessed with two sons, Paul Jr. and the late Jon David.

A 50th wedding anniversary celebration is planned for Steve and Teresa Kauffman Saturday, August 13 from 5-10 p.m. at the Reinbeck Memorial Building, 208 Broad Street in Reinbeck.
