Cody and Jodi Webb of Decorah announce the birth of their son, Duke Cody Webb, born February 17, 2019 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 7 lbs. 13 ozs. and measured 22 inches in length at the time of his birth. He joins a brother, Walden (22 months). Grandparents are Mark and Jane Webb of Decorah, Jane Hendricks and Ric Hillers of Manchester and Dean and Peg Hendricks of Oelwein.

Ross and Kendrin Geerdes of New Vienna announce the birth of their son, Wilder Ross Geerdes, born January 28, 2019 at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque. He weighed 8 lbs. 15 ozs. and measured 21-1/2 inches in length at the time of his birth. He joins his big sister, Sullivan (3).

Grandparents are Tom and Beth McCormick of Harpers Ferry and Brad and Sherry Geerdes of Monticello. Dorothy McCormick of Harpers Ferry is a great-grandparent.

Brody and Kayla Baxter of Waukon announce the birth of their daughter, Charlee Rae Baxter, born February 1, 2019 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 6 lbs. 2 ozs. and measured 20 inches in length at the time of her birth.

Jolynn and John Chiu of Monona announce the birth of their daughter, Gracelynn Amari Chiu, born January 19, 2019 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 6 lbs. 10 ozs. and measured 19 inches in length at the time of her birth. She joins siblings Savannah (11), Sophia (5) and Isaiah (3).

Willard and Shirley Meyer of Dorchester will be celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary. The couple was married February 14, 1954 at St. Luke’s United Church of Christ in Eitzen, MN. They plan to celebrate the occasion with their family.

Their marriage was blessed with four children, including Stan (Bev) Meyer of Eitzen, MN, Bryan (Lois) Meyer of Dorchester, Peggy Burrichter of Dorchester and Lori (Bobby) Johnson of Waukon. They have 13 grandchildren and 17 - soon to be 18 - great-grandchildren.
