Ted and Kori Troendle of Waukon announce the birth of their daughter, Tierney Jane Troendle, born August 2, 2018 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 6 lbs. 5 ozs. and measured 21 inches in length at the time of her birth.

Grandparents are Ron and Sue Troendle of Waukon and Doug and Teresa Berg of Postville.

Heath and Danialle Draeger of Lansing announce the birth of their son, Lawson Porter Draeger, born August 2, 2018 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 7 lbs. 1 oz. and measured 20-1/2 inches in length at the time of his birth. He joins a brother, Weston Terrance Draeger (2).

Grandparents are Terrance and Gail Draeger of Waupaca, WI and Roderick and Sherri Rupert of Parkers Prairie, MN.
 

Omar and Heather Azurdia of Elgin announce the birth of their son, Aceson Lazaro Dahl-Azurdia, born August 1, 2018 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 8 lbs. 5.8 ozs. and measured 21-1/4 inches in length at the time of his birth. He joins siblings, Alex (12), Addison (8), Aiden (7) and Anthony (3).
 

Mireya Bolanos and Jorge Anaya of Waterville announce the birth of their daughter, Leah Anaya Bolanos, born August 6, 2018 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 7.15 lbs. 4 ozs. and measured 19.5 inches in length at the time of her birth. She joins siblings, Ashley (10) and Joseph (4).

Grandparents are Rosalina Meneses and Cervando Meneses and Luisa Angela Marroquin and Felix Anaya, all of Mexico.

Colin and Kayla Ness of Waukon announce the birth of their son, Clayton Earl Ness, born August 7, 2018 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 7 lbs. 10.6 ozs. and measured 20 inches in length at the time of his birth. He joins a brother, Liam (2).

Grandparents are Chad and Diana Ness, Carmen McCormick and John Farley, all of Waukon and Terry and Ronda Burroughs of Caledonia, MN. Great-grandparents are Barb and Sigurd Ness, Janice Dougherty and the late Ralph Dougherty, all of Waukon and Milton and Elaine Burroughs of Caledonia, MN.

Kathryn Van Brocklin of Lansing will be celebrating her 80th birthday with an open house Saturday, August 18 from 12-3 p.m. at Milty’s Restaurant in Lansing. Light snacks and refreshments will be served. Family and friends are invited. No gifts are requested.

Ashlee Pitts and Paul O’Neill of Waukon announce their wedding to take place Saturday, August 18 with a ceremony to be held at the Waukon City Park. A reception will take place at the Waukon Banquet Center with a dance starting at 7 p.m. which will be open to the public.

Parents of the bride-to-be are Nancy Renk of Brownsville, MN and Robert Kelsey of Missouri. Parents of the groom-to-be are Frank and Donna O’Neill of Waukon.

The bride-to-be is a stay-at-home mother of three children and is obtaining her Bachelor of Arts degree in Human and Mental Health through Ashford University and will be pursuing a Masters degree in Psychology. She will be given away by her father, Robert Kelsey. The Maid of Honor will be Brittney Boydston with bridesmaids Bridget Schobert, Samantha Yasiin, Jessica Burmester and Ebonie Pitts. Flower girls will be Alivia O’Neill and Dallas Goetzinger.

Shelby K. Sommer and Daniel K. Iseli wish to announce their engagement and upcoming nuptials. Parents of the bride-to-be are Joel and Teresa Sommer of Waukon. Parents of the groom-to-be are Arthur and Lori Iseli of Waukon.

The bride-to-be is a 2013 graduate of Waukon High School. She is employed as a Teacher at Sun Flower Day Care Center in Decorah.

The groom-to-be is a 2011 graduate of Waukon High School and a graduate of the John Deere Program at Northeast Iowa Community College (NICC). He is employed as a Service Technician with Windridge Implements in Decorah.

The couple will exchange vows September 22, 2018 at the Glenwood Lutheran Church in rural Decorah. A reception and dance will follow at the Waukon Banquet Center.

Marshall and Leah Lange of Garnavillo announce the birth of their son, Shane Gerald Lange, born July 26, 2018 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 8 lbs. 7 ozs. and measured 21 inches in length at the time of his birth. He joins siblings, Leigh (3) and Owen (2).

Grandparents are Trent and Leslie Henkes of Luana and Dave and Bonnie Lange of Monona. Great-grandparents are Glenda Henkes, Kathleen Lange and June Freilinger, all of Monona.
 

Brian and Samantha Creasman of Lansing announce the birth of their daughter, Kaysley Barbara Creasman, born July 25, 2018 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 7 lbs. 6.6 ozs. and measured 23 inches in length at the time of her birth. She joins siblings, Nayelly (4) and Emsley (16 months).

Grandparents are Rebecca and Juan Rosas of Lansing and Diane Lee of McGregor. Arden Sonny Sprain of La Crosse, WI is a great-grandparent.
