Gloria Larson of Cresco will be celebrating her 90th birthday with an open house Saturday, July 14, 2-5 p.m. at the Cresco Country Club. Family and friends are invited to this surprise celebration.

The descendants of Gulbrand and Agnet Hagen will be meeting this Sunday, July 15 at the Hagen Pond two miles west of Waterville on Highway X32.

Gulbrand and Agnet sailed to America in July 1854 with their young daughter, Martha. Their son, Peter, was born in a box car near Chicago before they were able to reach their destination of the “Paint Creek Prairies”.

The Dundee reunion is scheduled for Saturday, July 28 at 11 a.m. and will take place at the Waukon City Park Jaycee shelter. Surnames of families related to the Dundee family include Bray, Ewing, Powell, Hastings, Beall, Baker and Snitker, among others. Those attending are asked to bring a dish to share.

TJ and Tatum Iverson of Waukon announce the birth of their son, Ellis James Iverson, born June 22, 2018 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 6 lbs. 9 ozs. and measured 19-3/4 inches in length at the time of his birth. He joins brothers, Evan (4) and Levi (2).

Grandparents are Phil and Wendy Norton and Steve and Cindy Iverson, all of Waukon. Great-grandparents are Ray and Mary Ann Burke of Waukon.

Matthew and Ciara Snitker of Waukon announce the birth of their son, Dax Leslie Snitker, born July 3, 2018 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 7 lbs. 9 ozs. and measured 21 inches in length at the time of his birth.

Clarissa Evans and Eric Clemons of Postville announce the birth of their son, Caiden Cordel Clemons, born June 27, 2018 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 7 lbs. 1 oz. and measured 21 inches in length at the time of his birth. He joins siblings, Charles Massie (6) and Chauntise Massie (10).

Jared and Becky Winkie of Waukon announce the birth of their son, Zebediah Bradley Winkie, born June 28, 2018 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 6 lbs. 9 ozs. and measured 22-1/2 inches in length at the time of his birth.

Grandparents are Lester and Eva Schnabel of Sheffield and Brad and Linda Winkie of Waukon. Great-grandparents are Jane Schneider of Waukon and Glenn Schnabel of Sheffield.

Hunter Hauser-Caldwell and Paige M. Cota of Waukon announce the birth of their son, Brycen Michael Hauser-Caldwell, born June 25, 2018 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 7 lbs. 1 oz. and measured 20 inches in length at the time of his birth.

Valerie and Josh Miller of Waukon announce the birth of their son, Ellison Bristol Miller, born June 24, 2018 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 10 lbs. 8 ozs. and measured 22 inches in length at the time of his birth. He joins brothers, Eddie (5) and Harry (3).

Beverly and the late Bradford Krambeer of Waukon announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Carly Krambeer, to Brandon Trausch, son of Robert and Jill Trausch of Webster City.  The couple plans to exchange vows August 4 in Waukon.

The bride is a 2011 graduate of Waukon High School and a 2015 graduate of Allen College. She is employed as a registered nurse at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, MN.

The groom is a 2011 graduate of Webster City High School and a 2014 graduate of Hawkeye Community College.  He is employed as a welder at McNeilus Trucking and Manufacturing in Dodge Center, MN.

The couple plans to reside in Rochester, MN.
