Steve and Marie Christianson and Keith and Margaret Burrett, all of Waukon, announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their children, Kirsten Christianson and David Burrett. The couple plans to exchange vows September 13 at Zion United Church of Christ in Waukon. A reception will be held following the ceremony at the Fairgrounds Pavilion in Waukon, with an 8 p.m. dance open to the public at that same location.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Kirkwood Community College with degrees in Criminal Justice and American Sign Language. She is currently employed at Waukon Veterinary Service.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Kirkwood Community College with a degree in Criminal Justice. He is currently employed by the City of Waukon.

Kasey Knudtson and Brock Iverson, both of Waukon, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding. They plan to exchange vows September 6 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Waukon. A reception and dance will be held following the ceremony at the Waukon Banquet Center.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Sherry and the late Clifford Knudtson of Waukon. She is a 2005 graduate of Waukon Senior High and a 2008 graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Real Estate. She is currently employed at Farmers and Merchants Savings Bank in Waukon.
The groom-elect is the son of Craig and Janet Iverson and Lyle and Brenda Kurth, all of Waukon. He is a 2001 graduate of Waukon Senior High and a 2009 graduate of Minnesota West Community and Technical College with a diploma in Power Lines. He is currently employed by Highline Construction based in Paynesville, MN.

Macy Pritchard and Kody Pierson of Waukon announce the birth of their daughter, Paisley Rae Pierson, August 20, 2014 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 7 lbs., 7 ozs. and measured 20 inches in length at the time of her birth.
Grandparents are Connie Cole of Waukon and William Pierson of Montezuma.
 

Jared and Bailey Estebo of Lansing announce the birth of their daughter, Kinlee Ann Estebo, August 20, 2014 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 8 lbs., 5 ozs. and measured 20-1/2 inches in length at the time of her birth. She joins a brother, Keagen (4).
Grandparents are Duane and Becki Estebo of Lansing, Dawn Schlitter of New Albin and Rory Schlitter of Prairie du Chien, WI. Great-grandparents are Jim and Lindy Howes of Waukon, John and Sharon Wood of Harpers Ferry, Harvey and Betty Estebo of Waukon, Julie Wood of Lansing, Kim Strnad of Prairie du Chien, WI and Dean Schlitter of Waukon.

Melissa and Ben Seibert of Marina, CA announce the birth of their daughter, Evelyn Florence Seibert, July 27, 2014 at the couple’s home. She weighed 8 lbs., 2 ozs. and measured 20 inches in length at the time of her birth. She joins two sisters, Attica (7) and Madelia (3), and four brothers, Walter (5), Biniyam (4), Estifanos (4) and Henry (22 mos.).
Grandparents are Debbie Honn and Tom Waters, both of Waukon, Rhonda Seibert of Decorah and Howard Seibert of Harpers Ferry. Great-grandparents are Richard and Edith Bloxham of Waukon and Roger and Shari Honn of Cedar Rapids.

The annual reunion of the descendants of Earl and Marion Miller will be held Monday, September 1 (Labor Day) at 12 noon in the Community Room at Farmers and Merchants Savings Bank in Waukon.
A potluck meal is planned and family history and photos can be shared. Those planning to attend are asked to bring their own table service and to remind other family members about this upcoming reunion.

Justin and Regan (Berns) Sweeney of Waukon announce the birth of their daughter, Stella Rae Sweeney, July 19, 2014 at Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse, WI. She weighed 6 lbs. 4 ozs. and measured 19 inches in length at the time of her birth.
Grandparents are Reg and Angie Berns of Dorchester, Jim and Becky Beardmore of Caledonia, MN and Jim and Margo Sweeney of Waukon. Great-grandparents are Francis and Muggs Berns of Waukon and Kate Finley of Utica, MN.

Mullen Wacker and Seth Beisker of Waukon announce the birth of their son, Griffin James Beisker, July 8, 2014 at Franciscan Skemp Medical Center in La Crosse, WI. He weighed 9 lbs., 2 ozs. and measured 21-1/2 inches in length at the time of his birth.
Grandparents are Ray and Kerry Wacker of Waukon, Deborah and DJ Regan of Waukon and Wes Beisker of Waukon. Great-grandparents are Jim and Micki Connor of Waukon, Ray and Shirley Wacker of Boscobel, WI, Jim and Mary Nagel of Waukon and Laurayne Beisker of Waukon. Great-great-grandmother is Mary Hermanson of Waukon.

Lee and Angela Carlson of Dorchester announce the birth of their son, Memphis Allen Carlson, August 5, 2014 at Gundersen Hospital in La Crosse, WI. He weighed 8 lbs., 2 ozs. and measured 21-1/4 inches in length at the time of his birth.

Amber and Matt Chicken of Clermont announce the birth of their daughter, Anna Rae Chicken, July 28, 2014 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids. She weighed 7 lbs., 14 ozs. and measured 19-1/2 inches in length at the time of her birth. She joins a sister, Abby (9).
