Kiel and Kaylee Fritz of Monona announce the birth of their daughter, Kamdyn Jo Fritz, born February 3, 2022 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 6 lbs. 13 ozs. and measured 19-1/2 inches in length at the time of her birth. She joins siblings, Kestyn (6) and Krayten (4).

Grandparents are Larry and Rachel Fritz of Garnavillo and Joe and Linda Zuercher of Postville.

Brenen and Stephanie Steele of Luana announce the birth of their daughter, Saffron Lee Steele, born February 5, 2022 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 7 lbs. 3 ozs. and measured 20-1/2 inches in length at the time of her birth. She joins a sister, Sienna (20 months).

Grandparents are David and Mona Schultz of Luana and Jerry and Shelby Steele of Eitzen, MN.

Rachael Marie Gannon, originally of Coralville, and Aaron Thomas Palmer, originally of Waukon, exchanged vows in a wedding ceremony held at the Village Creek Bible Camp in rural Lansing Saturday, January 22, 2022. The 11:30 a.m. indoor ceremony was officiated by Pastor Tom Buresh with this intimate gathering having approximately 100 attendees present on a beautiful, sunny day with freshly fallen snow.

The bride is the daughter of Michael and Denise Gannon of Coralville. She is a 2008 graduate of West High School in Iowa City and a 2012 graduate of University of Northern Iowa (UNI). She is employed as the Assistant Vice President and Branch Lending Manager at FreedomBank in Decorah.

The groom is the son of Gregory and Marlene Palmer of Waukon. He is a 2005 graduate of Waukon High School and a 2009 graduate of Iowa State University (ISU). He is employed as a Territory Sales Manager at STgenetics in northeast Iowa and southeast Minnesota.

Adrianna Rocksvold and Dylon Peterson of New Albin announce the birth of their son, Crue Riley Peterson, born January 28, 2022 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 7 lbs. 15 ozs. and measured 20 inches in length at the time of his birth.

Frank and Joyce Lyons of Waukon will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary February 10. A private celebration with family is planned.

Logan and Sam Glawe of Monona announce the birth of their son, Kaseyn Douglas Glawe, born January 18, 2022 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 8 lbs. 9 ozs. and measured 22 inches in length at his birth.

Grandparents are Doug and Peggy McNally of Monona, Nin Glawe of Monona and Troy Glawe of Littleport. Great-grandparents are Richard and Barbara Thompson of Monona, Wayne and Jodi Welch of Monona, and Jack and Mary Johnson of Sun City West, AZ.

Halsey Darling and Adam Sadewasser of Guttenberg announce the birth of their son, Henry Arlo Sadewasser, born December 14, 2021 in La Crosse, WI. He weighed 6 lbs. 5 ozs. and measured 18.9 inches in length at the time of his birth. He joins siblings, Pearl (5) and Will (3-1/2).
